Welcome to the new look of ISKCONtoday.org & To the newly elected members of the ISKCON GBC!

Over the last week many meetings were held in ISKCON, Bangalore on the process of electing GBC of ISKCON. At the conclusion of those meetings, it was decided to start the process of the election of GBC members of ISKCON, Inc. for the India Zone in conjunction with ISKCON, Bangalore. Temple President(and like) body was elected from among the general temple members all over India---from a total of 136 members. This general body appointed 20 likely candidates who formed the ballot for the GBC. An election was held from among those for the India GBCs on Srila Prabhupada's 31st Disappearace Day, November 2nd, 2008 in ISKCON, Bangalore. For the results, please come back again.

This site will carry regular updates on the elections of the GBC being conducted in each Zone. You can also see on multiple videos the transparent making of the election process & to meet the newly elected GBC members and to hear from them.

All the meetings, discussions and voting that were held were video recorded. They will soon be put up on this site.
